In our classroom, we have a word wall. This is just what it sounds like - a wall of words! We will be reviewing 42 Dolce Pre-K sight words over the year. We will add these words to our wall as the year progresses and I will post the words of the week here. The children are by no means expected to master all of these words or any for that matter. It is more of an exposure to sight words to have them begin to relate the words we say to words that are written. The wall will be useful during our journal time for students that wish to copy down different words. Along with our sight words, we will add our names to the word wall and other words that our important to our weekly themes.
